A year ago, you voted to create the Central Vermont Career Center School District — supporting students to learn a trade or skill that will open up a world of opportunities. Thanks to you, students who like working with their hands — and minds — to solve problems and create solutions, are setting and achieving real life goals. This year, we are asking for your support again. We are asking you to say YES to our FY 24 budget. Tuition for CVCC is already built into your local school budget. Saying YES to CVCC at Town Meeting will allow us to maintain our programming using funds your local district has already budgeted for. It will NOT create an additional tax impact. Over the past 10 years, we have seen thousands of high school graduates leave Vermont to attend college, find careers, and start their families —taking with them the skills, ambition, and enthusiasm we need right here at home. CVCC graduates tend to do just the opposite. Most remain right here in Vermont, in the communities that raised them, ready and willing to work.

At CVCC, we're preparing students to become mechanics, designers, chefs, plumbers, contractors, TV producers, hairstylists, EMTs, nurses, and more. When they graduate from CVCC, they are ready to bring their skills into the Vermont workforce, significantly impacting our economy in a positive way.
