Greetings neighbors! Are you interested in volunteering at local farms and gathering produce for your food insecure neighbors? Do you need member or volunteer hours? Over 86,00 Vermonters and 24,000 Children in Vermont struggle with hunger and inadequate nutrition. We are looking for volunteers to join us and harvest vegetables at local farms in the area so we can then distribute fresh produce to various food insecure individuals and organizations in Northern Vermont. We have a high need for volunteers to assist with gleaning produce, sorting vegetables in Wolcott, holding cooking demos at local food shelves and more!
