Hello neighbors. Passing along this message from the rink organizers...

It's time to set up the skating rinks at Calahan Park! This will be the 11th year of organizing, building, maintaining and taking down this amazing volunteer-led community asset.

And help is needed!

This Saturday, Dec 10, starting at 9 AM, volunteers are needed to:

• Pull 2x10 boards and 2x4 brackets out of storage and setting on the court
• Install brackets/braces to the boards with screws using cordless drills / impact drivers
• Fill sand bags and load them on top of brackets to anchor them in place
• Repair broken brackets
• Organize skates and clean warm-up hut

All materials, supplies, and tools will be provided. The more volunteers, the quicker we will be done. Please help spread the word.
