The Windham Philharmonic under the direction of Hugh Keelan performs Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 at the Latchis Theatre in Brattleboro on Monday, December 12th at 7pm.
Tchaikovsky's explosive Fourth Symphony explores the concept of fate and its inescapable influence on humanity. Tchaikovsky closes his examination with hope and optimism. Writing about the work, he noted that in spite of fate, "there still is happiness, simple, naïve happiness. Rejoice in the happiness of others — and you can still live."
The concert will last approximately an hour. Admission and bake sale by donation; masks are requested.
