Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022 at 4:00 pm, The Randolph Singers return to the Chandler Center for the Arts for their annual holiday concert. The program includes songs for the adult and a children's chorus and concludes with a Christmas carol sing-along. Admission is free - although goodwill donations are very welcome!
Director Marta Borgstrom crafted the program to include three different versions of "Ave Maria" featuring solos by Maria Lamson and Marjorie Drysdale. Ms. Borgstrom and Susan Montgomery-Grout provide a bravura four-hands piano accompaniment to the Shepherds' Carol and the Ukrainian Bell Carol. Daryl Grout, Jane Tulloh, Ellen Drysdale and Becky McMeekin will play in a string quartet accompanying several pieces in the program. Soloists also include Jan Fowler, Steve Augustus, Steve Pratt and Tammy Limlaw.
The Randolph Singers are a non-auditioned community chorus and invite all interested singers to join them for the Spring concert. Rehearsals begin late January. While there is a season fee, scholarships are available. You can find more information at www.RandolphSingers.org and on our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/RandolphSingersVermont
