It's been over 100 years since the Audubon Society launched the first Christmas Bird Count, now the nation's longest-running community science bird project. Join the Vermont Land Trust and Audubon Vermont to learn about how the Christmas Bird Count works, why it's important, and how you can contribute to this fun and important data collection effort every year. We'll answer some of your most common questions, introduce you to local organizers across Vermont, and talk about the bird species you might encounter.
