Impacts of Climate Change on Agriculture and Ecology

The League of Women Voters of Vermont, in partnership with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, will present a virtual panel discussion on the Impacts of Climate Change on Agriculture and Ecology on Wednesday December 14 at 7 p.m.

 The panel, moderated by Tom McKone, will focus on the effects of climate change on Vermont landscapes. Panelists include Jillian Liner,Vermont Audubon; Jim Shallow, Nature Conservancy; Abbie Corse of the of the Corse Farm Dairy and VT Climate Council; and Josh Faulkner, UVM and VT Climate Council.

The program will be hosted via Zoom and is open to the public. Attendance is free, but all guests must register at

The December 14 program is the second in the League's 2022-23 Lecture Series on The Impact of Climate Change on Vermont. This season we looking at the  effect of climate change on the personal, economic, and ecological level in Vermont, closing with a discussion of action that has been taken and what we can do individually and as a community.
