Artisans Hand craft gallery will feature Montpelier bookbinder Elissa Campbell during Montpelier Art Walk on Friday, December 2, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. She'll give demonstrations of traditional bookbinding techniques and have a selection of her work available for purchase. The event is free and open to the public.
Elissa stumbled upon the world of making books while in graduate school for art therapy. She never could have anticipated that passing by a store window would turn into a lifelong love for the craft. As an artist, she enjoys making objects that offer a way for others to preserve and share their stories.
