Barre Cub Scout Pack 717 AOLs are collecting donations to benefit the Good Samaritan Haven this Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 12:30-4 p.m. outside of Kinney Drugs on the Barre Montpelier Road. I have listed their immediate needs below. Please consider donating this holiday season!

• Winter jackets for both men and women (size large and above)
• Wool socks for both men and women
• Gloves
• Tarps
• Daypacks
• Tents (3- to 6-man-tents ideal, but all sizes helpful)
• Lightweight folding cots (for older folks and those with back issues)
• Sleeping bags (zero rated preferred)
• Hand warmers
• Battery operated radios (can help fight depression and help folks preserve their phone battery life for emergencies)
• AA batteries
• Small flashlights
• Headlamps
• Socks
• Gloves
• Warm footwear/boots
• Pillows
• Bath towels
• Feminine hygiene products
• Paper products
• Cleaning supplies
• Laundry pods
• Gift cards to local stores like Walmart, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, Dunkin' Donuts, and McDonalds
• Bus passes GMTA
