Troop 880 of the Newport/Derby area is hosting a Scouting Challenge Day to be held December 3rd at the Holland School on Valley Road in Holland. Youth ages 11-17 may participate. Bring a team or join a patrol. You will be challenged in several scouting challenges which may include; fire building, gaga pit, bow and arrow, casting, compass, knots and first aid and other areas of scouting knowledge. Use your wits and work together to gain points for your team. There will be food and fun. Please bring a guardian or parent with you. Information will be given out on how youth can join the scouting program in the Northeast kingdom.
