"We are two women (Mulu and Alganesh) from Eritrea, a small country next to Ethiopia. We love to cook and share our culture with others and enjoy providing real Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine to the people of Vermont. We'd like to thank ArtsRiot! for this wonderful opportunity to give the Vermonters a taste of our food. We're cooking again! Our next event at ArtsRiot! will be Saturday July 5. Our first Saturday event, so please plan for it. Some of you will be pleased to hear Shiro will be back on the menu, thanks to Abiy who picked up the ingredients on a recent trip to Ethiopia! This is posted for our dear neighbor, Mulu Terwilde, who with her family and friends cook up a storm both before their Artsriot! dining event and during it! The food is amazing and Bruce and I have enjoyed the opportunity to be exposed to and learn about delicious, homemade Ethiopian cooking. The menu is varied, the servers (family and friends!) are helpful and the atmosphere is very celebratory and informal. All ages welcome; it's a family affair!
