Please join me in the Main Reading Room of the Brownell Library to hear the experience of Ukrainian high school exchange student Diana H. who grew up in Kherson, Ukraine and arrived here in the summer of 2021. She will reflect on her experience as a student abroad in Vermont while her country was invaded by Russia, and the impact on her family and friends as the war continues. Members of the Green Mountain chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America will be on hand to share their pieces of their work inspired by Ukrainian patterns they stitched at a recent event.
