The Essex-Jericho-Underhill Food Shelf will hold a distribution this Saturday November 19 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 273 Rt 15 Jericho from 9:00 to 10:30 am. This Food Shelf is sponsored by 11 local churches and many other community groups and individuals who fill the donation bins at the Jericho Market, Hannaford-Essex and Price Chopper-Essex. Special donations this month come from Jericho Settlers Farm, Deborah Rawson Memorial Library gardeners, Mountain Mamas, and Dore Whittier Architects, plus food collection drives sponsored by Farrell Chiropractic Center, Girl Scout Troop 61275 and Catholic Churches in Essex. The Food Shelf is open to all in need. If you would like to contribute, the following staples are most desired: peanut butter, spaghetti and other pastas, tomato sauce, baked beans, cereal and canned fruit. Questions?
