The final lecture of this fall's Osher lecture series WILL be held this afternoon at 1pm. The roads should be clear. Drive carefully in our winter wonderland.

Robert Mermin Founder of Circus Smirkus, trained with legendary mime Marcel Marceau, before embarking on a 40 year career in the theater and circus worlds. He will talk about how he adapts basic pantomime and circus techniques to help people with Parkinson's cope with movement limitations. These techniques include visualization, body language, non – verbal communication, articulation of gesture, and creative use of imagery and space.

Rob will discuss his experiences and demonstrate fun methods and tricks he uses in his workshop.
