Hundreds of Pies and Banana Breads Later...

It's amazing to think, but this is the 10th anniversary of Hunger's Hard, Baking's Easy. Wow!

Please join your fellow friends, neighbors and bakers as we prepare and donate baked goods to the Lamoille Community Food Share, Clarina Howard Nichols Center, and The United Community Church in Morrisville (who provide free breakfasts every weekday).

Hunger's Hard, Baking's Easy is a grassroot's effort that started ten years ago and whose success continues to grow annually thanks to the generosity of our community.

Baked items are a rare sight at most food pantries and are especially appreciated and needed during the holidays. Pies, rolls, bread, cookies, and cakes filled two station wagons to overflowing last year. Create them yourself or purchase from your local baker/grocer, both avenues are great!

Baking just not your thing? Need an easier option? Then consider shopping for and donating breakfast items such as english muffins, coffee, pancake mix, eggs, bacon, sausage and maple syrup for the free breakfasts we support.

DROP OFF DAY is Monday, November 21st at Stowe Elementary School, Stowe High School, The Body Lounge on the Mountain Road and added this year, River Arts in Morrisville. Please have all donations SECURLY wrapped and delivered by 3:00 p.m. (NOON for River Arts).
