The Waterbury Historical Society invites you to a Holiday Open House at our History Center - 28 No. Main Street on Sunday, December 4th from 1-3:00 pm. Our spectacular collection of original snowflake slides taken by Snowflake Bentley will be featured on a big screen with commentary on how snowflakes crystals form. You will be treated to a tour of the History Center that will be decorated with a live tree and many other old fashioned Christmas decorations. You will learn about the life of the amazing Wilson Bentley! You will also hear the voice of WDEV's Old Squier reading his Christmas poems and receive complimentary copies of these poems. There will be a snowflake making activity for all ages and snowflake themed refreshments to enjoy. Copies of our new book, "A New Century in Waterbury Vermont" will be available for you to purchase for $25.00 - a perfect gift for the holidays and a great way to support the Historical Society.
