NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month!
NaNoWriMo is an annual, international creative writing event in which participants attempt to write a 50,000-word manuscript during the month of November. (More information at nanowrimo.org)
If you are participating in NaNoWriMo this year, then you know the month is already winding down! Lydia Taft Pratt Library in Dummerston is hosting a Come Write In event on Saturday, November 19th, 11:00am-2:00pm.
Come by our Write-In event for camaraderie, encouragement, support and fun, and to get some work done on your novel in the company of people who understand! Week three is a rough one; don't go through it alone!
We'll be doing 25 minute writing sprints with breaks in between. Wifi available, bring your laptop and snacks! (I'll probably bake cookies!) Feel free to show up late and leave early. Bring your friends!
All writers welcome, even if you are not doing NaNoWriMo.
The space and bathroom are wheelchair accessible, and masks are encouraged.
Lydia Taft Pratt Library is Dummerston's Community Public Library. We are located at 150 West Street in Dummerston, about ten minutes north of Brattleboro.
Contact Dena with any questions, or for more info about this event: dummerstonvtlibrary@gmail.com or 802-258-9878.
RSVPs appreciated but not mandatory. Just show up! Come Write In!
