An Artist Walks the Camino de Santiago
The fall session of the Central Vermont Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) continues on Wednesday, November 16 at 1:30 pm at the Montpelier Senior Activity Center. Renowned local artist and teacher Susan Abbott will present an artist's perception of this 500 mile walk on the ancient pilgrimage route, El Camino de Santiago, and share her sketches and photographs from the trip.
Abbott's presentation is the last of the fall term talks, but there is also a three-film series based on books by Henry James. The film series, selected and presented by Rick Winston, will take place on November 30, December 7 and December 14 at the Savoy Theater.
You may register for Abbott's talk only, or for her talk and one or more of the films for $8 apiece. Registration should be done online ahead of time or by calling 802-656-5817. Or if you decide to drop in at the last moment, you may send a check or pay online after the fact. All the details are at https://learn.uvm.edu/olli/centralvt
