The next meeting of the Green Mountain Weavers and Spinners Guild will be on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., All Saints Episcopal Church, 59 Summer Street, North Adams.

The program, "Adventures in Spinning", will be presented by three of the Guild's excellent spinners, Mary Ellen Czerniak, Suzanne Francke, and Marsha Karlson. They will be sharing their experiences in spinning, and will bring many different kinds of spinning equipment. Besides spinning wheels, there will be spindles, a chakra for spinning cotton, an electric spinning wheel, carding equipment, and other accessories. Examples of different fibers and the fibers spun and made into garments, etc. will be on display.

There will also be a brief slide presentation by guild member Marion Bergan on the Hill Institute and the Master Weaver program she is attending at the Institute.
