Tarot is a centuries old set of 78 archetypal images used for divination and insight. Each card holds a wealth of symbolism that can be interpreted in myriad ways depending on the adjacent cards. In other words, tarot takes infinity and breaks it into 78 pieces. In class we will break the deck down into its component parts to explore the meanings of the cards. We will practice laying out cards and conducting a reading. There will be ample decks available to use during class, and there will be decks available for purchase as well. If you already have a deck, feel free to bring it with you!

This week kicks off a series of tarot classes we will be holding monthly throughout the winter and spring. There will be two group classes offered each month, one specifically designed for teens. Tarot is a great way to connect with friends, and it will be a fun way to spend a chilly evening. The first class for adults is tomorrow, and the first class for teens is the next day.
