Colchester Milton Rotary Club is sponsoring Veterans Day Celebrations on Friday Nov 11 at Charlebois in Milton at 10 AM and at Dick Mazza's in Colchester at noon. This is the second year for the Operation Flags for Heroes program, to celebrate local heroes in our communities. 100 Flags are flying in our 13 sponsor sites and three community sites. We invite community members to attend and offer the opportunity to dedicate a flag to your own personal hero.

The program was started three years ago to raise money to support local nonprofits in the community. We have raised over 15K to support critical food needs, scholarships to students and support local veteran organizations.

The events at each location will have military honor guards, a bag piper, local musical groups as well as guest speakers.

Come join us, bring your heroes, your family members, and your neighbors to celebrate our community heroes!
