Slamdiabetes Vermont Summer Classic

Past event
Jun 27 to 28, 2014

This weekend my parents are having our fourth SLAMT1D wiffle ball tournament at Little Fenway in Essex VT along with a lot of wonderful volunteers who are making it happen. My name is Johanna (JoJo) and my brother Nick we are both 13. I've had type 1 diabetes (T1D) since I was 4. My brother Nick was diagnosed at 6.
Our team is the Trinity Bombers and we are going to be playing in the tournament this weekend. We've raised $735 between the two of us but our goal is $1000. We'd love for you to consider a donation today.

Who will benefit: SLAMT1D, Inc. to Fund T1D Re-Ed Program at Vermont Children's Hospital
Later this year, Fletcher Allen's Vermont Children's Hospital will host its first T1D Re-Education and Re-Teach event for 11-14 year-olds and their parents, funded in part by SLAMT1D, Inc.
The program is designed to help young teens and their parents refresh fundamental T1D management principles, strategies and skills to ensure healthy outcomes as these youngsters mature.
Your wiffle ball efforts helped make this possible for Vermont kids and their families.
