What better way to start a new week with a Sunday Morning Yoga practice! Join me for 60 - 75 mins of honoring your body, your heart and your mind. First we turn our attention inwards and connect to our breath. After a dynamic warmup, we may dive into a well-rounded flow, work on a specific goal or part of your body, or have fun with a peak pose, all with the intention to build and maintain strength, balance and flexibility. A cooldown and rest in Savasana round out the class.
All levels of experience are welcome; it is never too late to start. Personal attention to the students is important to me and I will provide options and adjust the practice to make it save, accessible and fun.
To cover my own costs, I am asking for a donation ($10 recommended) or just pay what you can.
In case you don't know me, my name is Doris Bittruf. I have lived in Westford for eight years. I have practiced yoga for more than 20 years and I'm passionate about teaching it to promote well-being. I am currently continuing my education with classes on Women's Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Pranayama (breath work), Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) and meditation. I am also an avid reader and enjoy volunteering at the Westford Public library.
