Hello Shaftsbury residents,
My name is Andrea Bacchi. I'm a Shaftsbury resident and the Chair of the Shaftsbury ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) Advisory Committee.
As you may know, Shaftsbury received $1.025 million from the Federal Government as part of relief efforts due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Shaftsbury ARPA Advisory Committee had a mission and purpose of collecting input from the residents of the Town to see how people would like to spend the money and then share the findings and our committee recommendations with the Shaftsbury Selectboard, who will make the final decision on how to spend said funds.
I invite you to the Shaftsbury Selectboard meeting tonight, Monday, November 7, 2022, AT 6:30 PM EST to listen to the ARPA Committee Presentation. The Selectboard will have future meetings regarding ARPA funds and implementation, so this won't be the last time to ask questions to the Selectboard.
Tonight's Selectbaord meeting will be in-person at Cole Hall, 61 Buck Hill Road in Shaftsbury, and virtually on Zoom.
