Minėmå Gallery is thrilled to have the unique textile works of Marya Lowe back on its' walls.

"Scattered Cohesion" is on view from November 8th through January 14th. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm or by appointment.

Opening Reception is Sunday, November 13th from 2-4pm. Tea and chocolate will be served. All are welcome!

Marya jumped into the contemporary art quilt world in 2007 after more than 3 decades as a traditional quilter and professional quilt restorer. A single magazine picture of Venetian glassware sparked the transition. Her fiber works range from energetic, improvisational abstract forms set against calm backgrounds, to the semi-realistic depictions of birds, birdhouses, seedpods, teapots and other delights of our world. "Whimsical sophistication" is an apt description of her work, which may be machine pieced, fused, or both.

Minėmå (min-AH-ma) is a micro contemporary public art gallery, located at 2 Lower Main Street, Johnson, currently exhibiting Vermont-based female artists, working in a multitude of fine art and craft disciplines.
