The Love the Stranger: Music and Learning Series presents a special Ladino workshop with Sarah Aroeste Sunday Nov. 6 at 4pm!
Join us for a special zoom workshop with Sarah Aroeste, an international Ladino singer/songwriter, author and speaker, as she highlights how Sephardic Jews were welcomed by strangers after being exiled from Spain. Enjoy an interactive, mixed-media program that integrates a brief history of Sephardic Jewry with Ladino language, music and written traditions while learning how being strangers in new lands helped Sephardic Judaism flourish into modernity.
