STEAM Ahead Saturdays continues at the Winooski Memorial Library this month for youth ages 5 and up! Each Saturday from 10-11 AM features a project for young learners that introduces participants to science, technology, engineering, and art and math-based concepts.
November STEAM Schedule:
• November 5th, Dinovember: Celebrate Dinosaur November with us at the Library! We'll make a simple dinosaur craft out of paper plates and check out some new and favorite dinosaur books.
• November 12th, Make Your Own Currencies: If you could make your own currency, what would it be? We'll conceive and create our own bills and learn about currencies used around the world.
• November 19th, Reverse Value Drawing: Instead of using a pencil to draw an image, we will build our creativity by using erasers to make an image out of a shaded page.
• November 26th, Planet Models: Make a clay model of a planet from our solar system or one of your own creation!
