Join the Vermont Green Building Network (VGBN) for an educational webinar event focused on lessons learned from indoor air quality monitoring in Vermont homes on Tuesday, November 15 from 12-1pm EST!
Many Vermonters live with or are at risk from long-term health complications caused by their homes or apartments, but may not know it. Specifically, kitchens are often the center of community within a home, but are also sources of indoor air pollution contributing to childhood asthma and other respiratory complications - especially in homes with gas cooking and/or lack of proper kitchen ventilation.
Attendees will learn more about what we've learned from indoor air quality monitoring in Vermont homes, as well as recommendations for ways to improve air quality. Attendees will also learn more about a recent grant partnership project between VGBN and the Milk with Dignity Standards Council. The initiative aimed to mitigate indoor air pollution generated by poor kitchen equipment and inadequate ventilation in Vermont farmworker housing.
