After years of hoarding logs and slabs, I've decided it's time to let some go ( only to make room for more!) Saturday, November 12th, from 9am to 3pm, I'll be displaying my salvaged slab and cookie collection. Over the last 10 years as an arborist, I've collected pieces, mostly from Addison County, to include black walnut, black cherry, butternut, red cedar, sugar maple, silver maple, red maple, box elder, American elm, white ash, apple, shagbark hickory, and of course, white pine. I have a wide selection of sizes, shapes, thicknesses, prices, and funkiness to fit everyone's style. Swing by if you're interested in a winter project or Christmas gift.
-Some slabs are kiln dried, air dried, and fresh cut, so I'll have a moisture meter on site
-Parking may be limited to 4 or 5 vehicles (trailers not recommended)
-Possible live bandsaw and/or Alaskan chainsaw milling demos available as well
-Cash, check, or Venmo accepted
