"Material Memory" is a solo exhibition at Main Street Arts by artist Jo Watko, featuring sculpture, installation and studio ephemera from the last two years, including work inspired by her August 2022 residency at In Situ Polyculture Commons, just outside of Saxtons River, VT. Come meet the artist and see her ceramic work in the MSA gallery between 5:30 and 7:00 pm on Friday, Nov. 4th.
Jo Watko is a multimedia artist working in sculptural & functional ceramics, painting, and fiber. Her work is informed by processes in nature, and our connection (or distance) from them. She holds a BFA in Ceramics and Painting from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA. This show will run from Nov. 4 until Jan. 7.
