Advance Directives are important for everyone, of all ages! The Vermont Medical Reserve Corps and the Vermont Ethics Network are teaming up to offer free workshops to help participants plan for end-of-life care and begin preparation of an Advance Directive. The first workshop will be held this Friday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. at the Greensboro Free Library, 53 Wilson Street. The workshop will be repeated at the Albany Public Library on Saturday, November 5 at 3:00 p.m. and at the Jeudevine Library in Hardwick on Monday, November 7 at 10:00 a.m. We hope you can make it to one of these very important and informative programs. Participants will learn how to have end-of-life care conversations with family members and the best way to document and record plans including DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) orders and an Advance Directive. Completed Advance Directives can be filed with the Vermont Advance Directive Registry for ease of access. Call or email GFL for more information.
