EMBODIED POETRY WORKSHOP

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 10-11:30AM
AT THE GRANGE HALL CULTURAL CENTER
WATERBURY CENTER

CELEBRATE THE SEASON OF GRATEFULNESS, AND SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY FOOD SHELF

Join poet Mary Rose Dougherty and
Mindful Movement practitioner, Becky Widschwenter,
for a guided experience of breath awareness, spoken poems,
writing, and gentle, mindful movement.

Before we have the words to say it, we must experience what we feel in our body. Expressive creativity when merged with a felt sense, has the power to shift heaviness to a lightness of being, nourish the body,
ignite the imagination, and center the soul.

No prior writing, nor movement/meditation experience necessary.

Dress comfortably, bring a journal, or use materials provided, and we appreciate you wearing a MASK.

Location: Grange Hall, 317 Howard Ave, Waterbury Center, VT
Registration link: https://schedulewithmindfulmovementwithbecky.as.me.embodiedpoetry
Cost: FREE with DONATION to the Waterbury Food Shelf.
Please consider an offering from their current high-priority needs: hot chocolate, tea, and coffee; canned meals -- Chef Boyardee, stews, and chilis; and oatmeal.
