Susan Snider of Mad River Fiber Arts and Mill will host this free workshop on Saturday, November 19, 2-4:30pm. Weaving is a great way to explore the fiber arts. Using a simple loom and different yarns, colors, and textures you will create a unique weaving. In the workshop we will learn how to "dress" the loom, basic weaving terminology, and weaving techniques. During the workshop, Susan will demonstrate how to set up a rigid heddle loom (that can be borrowed from the library!) and give everyone a chance to weave on it.
Limited to 6 participants; appropriate for ages 10 to adult.
