Save the Date and Take a Meander

Join us for the First Robinson Sawmill Thanksgiving Morning Turkey Meander
A walking/running/biking/meandering journey of 3 miles starting and ending at the Robinson Sawmill at Kents Corner in Calais
All ages and abilities welcome. This is not a race. It's just a chance to get some fresh air before the Thanksgiving Day activities begin. Meet your neighbors, get your heart rate up (or not), enjoy the views, and have a chance to take home some fun merchandise.
The meander starts at 9 am and it ends when you are done.
The route is a familiar one: leave the sawmill and go left or right. You can tackle the Robinson Cemetery Hill first up to County Road and glide down through Maple Corner and back to the mill, or go up to the Museum and on up to Maple Corner and up the County Road through to turn on Robinson Cemetery Hill Road and then have a fast downhill sliding into the finish. Either way is fine. You decide. You can wave to others traveling in the opposite direction!
We have some great prizes for a random drawing from local businesses--Sawmill T-shirts and hats, handmade goodies from area crafts people, and more. We'll have a fire going and some hot apple cider to keep you warm.
This event is completely free: no cash, no checks, no credit cards required. (Donations will be accepted but not expected) and a collection box for foodbank donations will be available.
We look forward to seeing you Thanksgiving morning. 9 am.
