A Buddhist Practitioner's Approach to Impermanence and Change
with Myra Woodruff
November 7th—December 12th
6:00-8:00pm
Price:
$140 Full Price

Everyone experiences loss - small and large. We can learn to gently approach our impermanence with a sense of genuine awareness that we cannot hold on to what is most precious, however hard we try.

Together in this six week course we will explore the Four Noble Truths - a fundamental teaching in Buddhism on the truth of our suffering, how it is created by us, how we can work with it and potentially decide to dedicate ourselves to the alleviation of suffering - our own and others.

We will primarily use two texts:

The Truth of Suffering and the Path of Liberationby Chogyam Trungpa

The Wisdom of No Escape and the Path of Loving-Kindness by Pema Chodron

We will practice meditation together, explore how practice embodies the teachings and share our own journey for what is true for us.

Please register by October 30. A generosity policy applies for those for whom the full price would prevent attendance. Please contact Myra Woodruff in advance at 802-735-5069 to arrange.
