Once again SCC leads the town in activities for all ages. Come one and come all in Halloween costumes which will be blessed by Pastor Dan. I am sure that we will have many children honoring our church and having a ball displaying their efforts!
Ladies - you too can dress up. Not necessarily as a black robed Witch! The earlier meaning of 'witch' was a female magician or sorceress. It also referred to a young woman of bewitching aspect or manners. You can make your choice! Halloween is a strange celebration and unique in its current form to the USA. In Britain it is All Saint's Eve. In Italy Tutti Spiriti followed by November 1st Tutti Santo. Always a great day for florists selling bouquets for visitors to put on grave sites.
All this excitement next Sunday plus the bonus of our fabulous choir! What a way to start the day!
