Join the Glow Ride this Saturday October 29 from 6:30-8:00pm!

(Hosted by Montpelier Complete Streets Committee and Local Motion)

We are kicking off of the annual Be Bright at Night awareness initiative this year with a no-drop, family friendly and very fun evening bike ride around Montpelier - The Glow Ride! With shorter days ahead, this event is a reminder to all who walk or ride to wear reflective safety devices and to motorists to stay alert for pedestrians and bicyclists.

Location + Time: Gather at 6:30pm at the State House Lawn. The ~5 mile ride will depart at 7pm.

How to Prepare: Bring your bike*, wear a costume, and put on lights, lots of lights, if you have them! Our kind guides and partners at Local Motion will also provide lights. Dress for all weather. There is no rain date.

* This is our first event of this kind. We hope to organize future combination walk/ride events with bikes provided for those who need one.
