Join Saxtons River neighbors on Wednesday, November 2 to discuss the West End Redevelopment of the Village's Main Street. The UMass Consulting Team will lead the event, a charrette, at 6:30 PM at Main Street Arts in Saxtons River, with pizza at 6 PM. The charette features three uses for the site, 37 Main Street, drawn from previous public input. The group present will look at sketches, site plans and brief descriptions to work on the ideas and make them better.

The three ideas up for discussion are an outdoor green space, a fire station, and a mixed commercial use/residence. 37 Main Street has been a photography studio, an automobile repair garage, a hardware store and a restaurant before Main Street Arts took it over. The Town of Rockingham applied for the municipal planning grant which funds the 37 Main Street project.
