The Morristown Centennial Library is partnering with the Morristown Conservation Commission for a reading and discussion of "The Animal One Thousand Miles Long" by Vermonter Leath Tonino. This quick, engaging read is a collection of essays that center around the people and places that make the Vermont landscape what it is, culminating in a longer form essay that describes the author's adventures traveling the length of Vermont seven times in seven different ways. If you'd like a copy of the book, call or email the library at 888-3853, info@centenniallibrary.org, or just stop by and pick one up.
A discussion about the book will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 5:30. Members of the Morristown Conservation Commission will be there to make connections from the book to some of our local places to get outside and enjoy the Vermont landscape. The end of the discussion will include a virtual Q and A with author Leath Tonino. Join us!
