We will be hosting a day long retreat this Saturday in Fayston VT. We will gather in my yurt in the woods.
SAMHAIN (pronounced sow-inn) is known as the Witch's New Year. It marks the end of harvest season and the turning of the wheel toward Winter and the time of year where the days are shorter, and the nights are longer. This is also a time for honoring our ancestors and loved ones who have passed. Many believe the veil to be thinner at this particular time of year making communication with the spirit world all the easier.
No matter what your beliefs, or what you celebrate, this is a particularly potent time of year. There is a shift in the air and it is quite palpable. So, come honor the wheel of the year with us in a magical and cozy yurt. We will gather in ceremony and sit in sacred circle together.
In addition to sharing circle we will spend time delving deep into Samhain folklore, discuss the current astrology, pull some tarot cards and do a fun activity together. We will also spend some time outside (weather permitting) and enjoy a delicious lunch together.
