Registered Republicans seeking to be a candidate for Justice of the Peace in Moretown are invited to attend the caucus of the Moretown Town Republican Committee on July 10 at 7 p.m. in the Moretown Elementary School.

Justices of the Peace participate as members of their Board of Civil Authority by reviewing the voter checklist and, participate with Tax Appeals as well as helping on Election Day and serving as a member of the Board of Tax Abatement. Justices of the Peace may also serve as a magistrate when commissioned by the Vermont Supreme Court.
