Waterbury Historical Society Fall Program

The Waterbury Historical Society invites you to its fall program, "Waterbury Musicians," on Wednesday, October 26, at 7:00 p.m. in the Steele Community Room, 28 N. Main Street. This multi-media presentation by musician, producer, and writer Mark Greenberg, of Goddard College and UVM, will feature such staples of the Waterbury music scene as the Hurstins (Eleanor Martin & Dorotha Parkhurst), Buddy Truax, Don Fields, and Lois and Smokey Carey, members of the Pony Boys. Professor Greenberg will also cover the role of radio station WDEV in nurturing Waterbury's rich musical history.

All WHS programs are open to the public, free, and family friendly. WHS gratefully accepts donations in support of our programming and collections maintenance.
