The Warren Public Library is pleased to offer a free babysitting course presented by UVM Extension 4-H.

Aimed at 11-13 year-olds, the course will prepare teens to handle any real-life babysitting situation from supervising children and choosing age-appropriate activities to preparing simple snacks, administering basic first aid and dealing with emergencies. It also will cover safety and good decision-making as well as the business of babysitting and what information to ask parents.

The course meets at the Warren Library on Saturday, November 12, from 9am-3pm. Participants should bring a sack lunch; additional snacks will be provided. Register at https://go.uvm.edu/babysit
