Saturday November 5th The Ripton Community Coffee House in Lincoln welcomes Corner House for a concert on the Burnham Hall stage!
They are celebrating the release of their new album " How Beautiful it's Been" and we're so glad they can include us on their tour.
Abiding by a love for adventure, Corner House finds purpose and solace in the beauty of earth and music. Clinging whole heartedly to studied traditions, the Boston based band has tended to write and arrange music liberally comprised of Irish, Scottish, Appalachian stringband, and bluegrass influences. Corner House is Ethan Hawkins (guitar), Louise Bichan (fiddle), Ethan Setiawan (mandolin), and cellist, Casey Murray.
"Corner House is a rare collective of musicians whose strength lies in their lyrics and the emotions evoked by their music—they have the power to effect change. Their brilliant use of instruments and lyrics beg the listener to dig deeper to search for answers. They paint across a wide palette while honoring music from the past." M Music & Musicians magazine
"Fun-filled and vibrant…a unique blend of indie rock and pop with bluegrass, Celtic, old time sounds"~Folk Radio UK
