For decades the Babcocks have been living in a centuries old famity farmhouse tucked onto a rough hewn hollow here in Montgomery Center VT After a life on the other side of the VT State Line the settled here after retiring and began to teach themselves to Quilt and Paint…all by hand,even the paints were often mixed and made by the Artist…the MontgomeryCenter for the Arts was given privy to the vast collection of work by these two important VT artists and curator M Sebastian Araujo was given the choice of pieces that form this show which runs through October. Stop by and see all these amazing treasures ,this is a rare glimpse into a time and place that will seldom be seen again.
