Join Us to Button Up Dog Mountain

Oct 29, 2022, 12 to 4 PM

It has been a terrific warm weather season for all of us (dogs and humans) up here on Dog Mountain. So many new and old friends have helped us reach nearly all our project goals since last April. As Volunteer Co-Coordinators, Jess and I have been touched by your overwhelming generosity of joyful spirit. Thank you.

We are already making plans for next spring, however our work is not quite done yet this year. If you have wondered what it's like to be part of our volunteer team, now is your chance.

On Saturday, October 29th from Noon to 4pm we will host another volunteer workday to pack up and winterize areas, like the patio, dog agility course, and Chapel gardens. Furniture and outdoor art needs to be packed and stored. Muscles will be flexed.

This fall we will also begin a multi-year effort to plant daffodil and tulip bulbs to welcome Spring with bursts of color all around the grounds. Love to garden? Here's your Oct. 29th task.

Come up for lunch at Noon and then we'll get started! Dogs are welcome as always. We should have plenty of shovels, etc. but maybe some extra bulb planting hand tools would be a help. Bring them on!

Please RSVP using this link so we know how to plan for the day.

With gratitude in advance,
Judy & Jess, and the rest of the DM Pack
