Self-defense workshop for Girls 13-19 years old. Non binary and other marginalized genders welcome.
Peace based philosophy builds self-esteem while teaching age appropriate physical, verbal and mental self-defense skills in a fun and supportive environment. Class includes mindset, philosophy, boundary setting, escaping from from grabs, basic kicks and strikes, blocking and evading, and scenario practice. Fun and games included!
Pre-registration is required. Please email us at centralvermontselfdefense@gmail.com with questions or to register. Class will be held at Bethany church (not affiliated) in the upstairs studio space, in Montpelier. Sliding scale $10-$25. There are a limited number of full scholarships available for low income students.
