Join the Winooski Memorial Library this week after early school dismissal for the following pop-up youth events!

Thursday, 10/20, 1-2:30 PM: Fluffy Slime
Kids will jump into mixing up their favorite non-Newtonian substance! This particular recipe makes a fluffy, cloud-like consistency that is great for sensory play.

Friday, 10/21, 1-2:30 PM: Candy Catapults
Kids will learn about potential and kinetic energy by designing their own catapults out of popsicle sticks. We'll then practice launching candy across the Library and measuring their distances. The youth who sets the longest distance record will win their own copy of "Cat Kid Comic Club: On Purpose" by Dav Pilkey!

These events are free, open to all youth, and do not require registration. Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
