OLLI lecture, Wed. 19, at Stowe Cinema (464 Mountain Rd.) Check-in begins at 12;30, Lecture begins at 1 PM sharp. "Mt. Mansfield Electric Railroad: Waterbury to Stowe." presented by P. Howard Flanders. The railroad was constructed in 1897 and operated until 1932. A collection of old photos and newspaper articles will accompany the lecture. The railroad right of way was used in the construction of the concrete Route 100 highway. Payment is no longer accepted at the door.
