Contra dancing in mid-October: 8:00-11:00 PM, at the Capital City Grange Hall, 6612 VT-12, Berlin VT 05602. Just one mile south of Montpelier.

This dance features Nils Fredland calling--one of the many popular callers we are lucky to be able to feature. Music will by by The Turning Stile--which includes Aaron Marcus on piano, banjo and perhaps concertina, plus Joanne Garton playing fiddle. A couple more of our favorite musicians!

Instruction/Newcomers' session at 7:40, we always love to have new folks join us! If you haven't been to a contra dance, check out the videos of folks dancing in the Grange Hall at: http://capitalcitygrange.org/dancing/contradancing/. You'll also see our COVID protocols: We require good masks: N95, KN95/94 or medical/surgical masks. We will give you one if needed! And we are not requiring proof of vaccination, FYI.

Admission prices: $12 for adults, $5 for kids & low-income folks, or be a "dance supporter" and give us $20, to help us pay the great callers, musicians and sound techs for the great work they do. We appreciate everyone who comes, whatever you pay!

Put the October 29 dance on your calendar too--we'll have a costume contest for all those who want to dress up for Halloween!
